The Marylebone Summer Fayre is taking place on Sunday 14th June 2009
This is the 6th Summer Fayre that the Howard de Walden Estate has held and is a celebration of all that’s great about Marylebone – bustling market stalls, fantastic retailers, top quality entertainment, some of the best food and drink in London, and lashings of community spirit. Six years ago this was once a low key afternoon but has now become a hugely popular event. The Summer Fayre of 2008 was the biggest and best so far with approximately 30,000 people attending.
As part of the fund raising we focus the whole of Paddington Street Gardens the 'Blue Zone' on Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) hosting a festival of live music and al fresco eating and drinking.
There is lots of activity all along Marylebone High Street and Marylebone Lane with the local retailers all pulling together to create a unique and wonderful day. There are also independent retailers who hire stalls for the day and sell an array of fantastic cosmetics, clothes, food and gifts.
